Artist Residency

December 2021 | Professor: Kelley Murphy

The design of this artist residency and gallery space in the Grand Center Arts District of St. Louis emphasizes the use of natural light to create a dynamic and welcoming environment. The building envelope is carefully crafted to collect and disperse natural light, providing ample illumination to the interior spaces. The exterior shell is designed to be an eye-catching and provocative form that piques onlookers’ curiosity to explore it further. The resulting building is a harmonious blend of form and function, inviting visitors to explore and engage with the art and creative energy of the space.
